Roadworks 2011

Today I headed over to San Francisco to participate in Roadworks 2011, presented by the San Francisco Center for the Book.  Five other artists and I were invited to carve 3 foot square blocks of linoleum which were then printed on Rhode Island Street in San Francisco with the aid of an Ingersoll Rand steamroller.  Way cool.

Blankets are put over the paper to absorb and redistribute the force of the steamroller
